Softwood timber decking is ideal for both internal and external, joinery applications. It remains the most commonly used natural type of wood decking. It can be used at ground level, as floating deck above ground or as a raised decking on roof-tops, terraces etc. Treated  Softwood timber decking can be used on public, and domestic areas, e.g. ramps, bridges, footpaths, walkways, balconies, steps- refer to your building regulations and planning permission for guidelines on the public use and local authority requirements. Is easy cut and to easy to fix,  see our installation guidelines.

There is a very large selection of different patterns or profiles softwood decking can be supplied in, e.g. smooth, ribbed, reeded, grooved, castellated, reversible or bespoke to special etc see some of our stock profiles It can be supplied with anti-slip slip resistance properties to give better grip underfoot.

Depending on the intended use area e,g external we can pressure treat, e.g. tantalised, vac-vac to enhance its durability or improve water repellence with a wax additive. We also can supply the decking factory finished painted.

We also supply Siberian Larch decking that is naturally durable and does not need any preservative treatment above ground.
